Here is Ashley and Nate's kitten Jax (named perfectly~he is a jumping jax). He is so cute...and does not sit still for a second. I brought my camera over to Ashley's yesterday and was so happy to get a good one of him and of course a few of Ashley too :)

Ashley makes fun of me because I take so many pictures of Peter our cat...well, it is because he is the only willing subject sometimes. I was snapping pictures of him on the stairs and caught him "washing his paw." LOL!!!! He has such a great personality...I just smile when I see pictures of him!!!

Yesterday was haircut day...most people are suprised to know that I have my cosmotolgy license (one of those crazy ideas I had). At least my family benefits from free haircuts.

I talked to my mom yesterday...she lives in Connecticut, they had snow and freezing temps...

This is Josh's guinea pig..."Gin" (original, huh?). My mom asked me why I never post a picture of the guinea pigs (yes, we have 2). While they were getting their cage cleaned out this weekend I decided to try to snap a photo (not an easy task!). This one made me laugh, because it is chomping on a blade of grass.

This one is for you mom, LOL!

My mom bought me a trial kit of bareMinerals a couple of months ago...I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, since I have pretty dry skin. After Ashley gave me a lesson in how to use it...I LOVE this stuff!!!!

This is my other kitty named "Kitty" (original, I know), she is about 8 years old and has quite the "cat-attitude" (LOL! I crack myself up). She is pretty much my cat...she follows me around everywhere, sits at the computer with me, and will only sit on my lap. She is not a fan of getting her picture taken...so today while I had my camera out she decided to give me a quick look (I think she looks kinda "ticked" what do you think?).

I just love when the ups man delivers to my house (especially when the delivery is for ME!!!!). The other day the man in brown delivered my new camera lens that I purchased with my Christmas $ (I LOVE it so far).

I wish I had more willing subjects around to photograph...I guess Peter my cat will have to do for now, lol!

if you are a member of Costco, they have a $10 off coupon in their flyer this week, bringing this baby to $15. Ashley and I both got one, and hope to be the weight the box says real soon!!!! (only a few pounds to go).

After watching last nights premier of the Biggest Looser...we decided to let the weigh in's begin, lol!

Okay...missed a couple of days, but I am letting myself off the hook, lol!

The UPS man delivered my new lens today *hooray*. Since I didn't get the delivery until 7pm tonight, I really didn't get a lot of "good lighting" time to play around with it. I did however shoot a picture of one of my addictions...Cookbooks!!! I just love them, I don't know why, but they just make me happy.

Thought I would post one of my Christmas gifts that I LOVE!!!! Even though I have no idea how to fully use it yet, I love the fact that I can take great pictures at night. I have learned how to bounce my flash off the ceiling for awesome results even in auto mode (because this thing is pretty powerful)!

I have another Christmas gift arriving tomorrow (that I used my bonus & Christmas $ on)...that I cannot wait to get!!!!! I will post a picture of that this week.

Okay...didn't get a picture taken on 1/1/09 (letting myself off the hook), LOL!

I met up with one of my blog readers yesterday, who has become a new Friend last year. This pic was taken with her phone, and after a little bit of editing in PSE, it came out pretty good IMO.

Okay off to take a photo for day 3!!!!
