365 {8.31.11}

Let me start out by saying that I LOVE MY HUSBAND!!  Mike gets up everyday WAY before me (at the butt crack of dawn!), so he takes his shower first.  This morning when I stepped in the shower, I found this!!!

SERIOUSLY!!  how am I supposed to get clean with this amount of soap, LOL!!

Luckily I only had one foot in the shower when I discovered it, so I replaced it with a full bar (In Mike's defense, it was pretty small when he got in this morning too, LOL!).

And just so you can get the correct perspective, here is another shot.

TGIF!!!!
Every year I have my carpets professionally cleaned~which I LOVE!!! As you know I am a little OCD, so with 3 cats, 1 dog and white carpeting, I tend to become a little obsessive!!!

This is the second time we have used Sears (they do a great job, btw!! And they are cheaper than Stanley Steemer).

First, I cleared out all the easy to move furniture...

Viola!!! a site of beauty (Chris told me that he could not believe that this carpeting is original to the house and so clean, I let him know about my OCD, and love for vacuuming, LOL!!!).

Now just waiting for everything to finish drying so we can get the house back to normal!!!

What can I say~I live such an exciting life!!!

365 {4.4.11}

One of the things on my agenda today was tackling Ashley's old bedroom (which is now our guest room). Josh had purged a lot of stuff (junk) from his room a couple of weeks ago and decided to store the stuff he wanted to keep, but didn't know where to put, in Ashley's room. I also joined in on the storing of stuff (junk); things like birthday party decorations, wrapping paper, my ironing pile, photography props, need I say more (OK don't judge, LOL!)? I was starting to feel like someone from this show!! Today I rectified the situation!!! Since I was too lazy to change my 50 mm lens from my camera, you are gonna get the close up version of before and after.

Before: (I had actually started to dig into the mess, then realized I forgot to take a before photo...and I was not about to put the stuff (junk) back, just for the photo, LOL!).

all of Josh's stuff that he didn't want to get rid of in bins (which surprisingly fit in his OWN closet!!)

Stuff to go in the trash or to Goodwill.

After: I feel so much better getting things back to my OCD state *wink*

Happy Saturday/Cleaning Day!!

I have had a few people ask me for my opinion of Shaklee, so with out further adieu:

I have been using the products for 3 weeks, and I have to say I absolutely LOVE them!!
I was very skeptical at first~seriously, you use 2 drops of Basic H to 16 oz of water to mix up the window cleaner (I didn't think that would be enough cleaner, but it works as good if not better than Windex~my former cleaner of choice!!).
The best part is that everything is all natural!! You can even brush your teeth with Basic H (I have not done that yet!!).
I also ordered the scour off~which is AWESOME for the kitchen sink and bathtub (my shower stall is older, and cleaned it better than using bleach!! ), again, everything is all natural and has a light scent.
My fav right now is the Basic G cleaner (Toni explains it so well here)~it is a natural disinfectant/germicide, and since I am slightly OCD, I love KILLING germs!!!
*the one thing that took me a little while to get used to is that the Basic H cleaner really does not have a scent (I am so accustomed to strong caustic smells to make me feel like things were clean~I just add a drop or two of the Shaklee hand wash (or you can use a drop or two of essential oils) to give it a light fragrance).*

I seriously love these products so much that I signed up to be a Shaklee distributor on Friday~so if you would like to give them a try, send me an email (gretchen.clark@hotmail.com )and I will hook you up!!! And of course they are 100% money back guaranteed!! I will not have an infomercial weekly, I promise, LOL!! Just sharing some really awesome, economical products.

Here is some extra info for your reading enjoyment :)

I have used my cleaners for 3 weeks, and made up bottles for Ashley to try, and I still have not used more than 2 tablespoons of cleaner. It will last you forever!!!
