*lots of photos today*
I had a to-do list a mile long today!! But I only got one thing done... but sometimes that is Okay :)

I started off the day getting a gel manicure, which was really AWESOME!! Supposedly the polish stays on and does not chip for 3 weeks~SWEET (pardon my short stubby fingers, LOL!!). I didn't get too crazy with the polish color this time!!



And since Ashley and Nate both had the day off, and my hubby gets out early on Friday's, we went out for lunch at the BBQ Company, which is not the best choice for dieters!! Ashley and I are starting back up at WW tomorrow morning~so hopefully we didn't do too much damage, LOL!!

Nate wasn't in the mood for a photo, LOL!! (I warned you it was going online NATE!!!).



It was funny how we ended up being seated, but it was nice to get Ash and Mike together!!



Then Mike and I went to Costco (which was on my list), I love that place!! It took me a while to get everything put away and organized, but once it was done it felt AWESOME!!



And I cannot wait to eat one of those nectarines!!! YUM!!

Party's are a big deal at the Clark house!! I always make the "birthday peep" whatever they want for dinner and of course I always have to do some sort of theme or party idea to make them feel celebrated!! And it is fun for me, LOL!!

We celebrated Ashley's birthday this afternoon with Lasagna, salad, and french bread (she chooses that every year, LOL!). I had a little "pink" cupcake type theme going on.

I have been wanting to make these cupcake jars for a while, and Ashley's birthday party seemed like the perfect time!! These were the "favors" for everyone to take home, since we had ice cream cake and cupcakes for the birthday girl!! I was really happy with the end result and they are super easy to make!!



And here is the Birthday Girl, with Hershey, getting ready to open her presents. Two cuties if I do say so myself!!

Today is my favorite daughters birthday!! I can hardly believe that she is 25 today!! Where did the time go? I am so glad I am not aging though, LOL!!

I am putting the finishing touches on Ashley's party tomorrow~and just pulled these babies out of the oven~I am going to do something really fun with them~it will probably be included in a POTD post tomorrow, or the next day, LOL!!



I thought I would look through my scanned photos for a picture of Ashley celebrating her first birthday and I was disappointed that I only had about 4 photos, and they were grainy and blurry!! Such a bummer, since I LOVE photographs so much! Well, I guess I am all set for grand kids, LOL!!

Here is one that cracked me up!! Man, we all look so young and my brother looks like he is 10 (he was 16 there)!! And I was really sporting the 80's permed/big hair too!! And I love Ashley's chubby legs and peach fuzz hair (she didn't have hair until she was 2).




And here we are today (well really last year), Me and Ash!! She is the BEST daughter in the world!! And I am so blessed to be her mom!! Love you Ash!!

Today is Day 9 of my 30 Day Photography Challenge

"Someone you Love"

I love lots of people~but the 3 most near and dear to my heart are these 3 crazy peeps below!!! Since my sweet family was not in the mood for a photo shoot today (I let them off the hook, once in a while, LOL!!!), I decided to pull this FAVORITE photo from my scanned photo file. They will probably wish they did the photoshoot today~ha ha!!!

This was taken around 1997 or 98 (way, way, WAY before my photography days~I think this was taken with a film point and shoot, LOL), when we were living in Lynchburg VA. Mike was finishing his bachelor's degree at LU. Surprisingly, those "lean" days were some of the best times in all our lives!!!

Last week The Canvas People were having a Mother's Day special~a FREE 8x10 canvas (all you have to do is pay the s & h). Soooo...I ordered myself a Mother's Day present (I however upgraded to the 11x14 for a few dollars more), LOL!! This is the second canvas I have ordered from them, and I am very happy with the quality and customer service!! Both times I got them for FREE~so that is an added perk ;)

Now I just need to figure out where I am going to hang this bad boy!!

Some Saturdays are just AWESOME!!! Today, Ashley and I decided to make a trip to the Container Store~GOOD TIMES!! (thanks Jess for the gift card, I got lots of fun stuff!!). First we decided to eat lunch at Pei Wei, so we would have enough energy to do some major shopping, LOL!!!



I get soooo excited when I see the store from the road~can I just say...organizing makes me happy!!!



Thank goodness Ashley is used to my crazy photo taking, cause I took lots of pic's!! This time I used my iPhone, instead of my big camera, which was a little more discreet then our last visit. But really, I don't get embarrassed snapping photos in the container store, because~I will NEVER see those people again, and even if I did~who cares!!

We went down every aisle (twice!!), it is just soooo fun looking at all the organization stuff!! I have to admit...I do get a little overwhelmed in there and want to purchase everything so I can redo my closets, kitchen cabinets, bathroom, office, EVERYTHING!!!

After our little spending spree (I didn't break the bank, LOL!!), we went to Starbucks, and got their new mocha coconut frappuccino (I had NO idea that you can get them fat free now!! which made me almost dance with excitement~not really, LOL!). It was SUPER YUMMY and we were there during their Happy Hour, which made our beverages 1/2 price~SCORE!!





On the way out of SB's, I had to snap a picture of this dude sitting outside with a big bird on his shoulder~Ashley even held my drink and purse so I could get the shot~She ROCKS!!



I had so much fun with my FAVORITE daughter today~now it is time to put my new organizational stuff to the test :)

Today I stopped over at Ashley's to visit Hershey, Jax and Jill. I have not seen them in a while and thought they might miss me, LOL!! I think they did *wink* Glad I had my iPhone with me, LOL!!! Jill Jax Hershey Me and the Hersh ;)

Today I had a baby photo shoot in Peoria~one of my FAVORITE assistants came along *smile.* It is always nice to have someone around to help me lug all my gear and props (and have someone to chat with on the 40 min drive), thanks Ash!!



Of course I always treat my assistants to something special on the way home!!

My hubby usually has things to do at the church on Saturday's~but this Saturday the Women's Ministry gave him the day off...so we decided to go out to brunch with the kids (I cannot remember the last time we did that). Unfortunately Nate had to work :(

Today was crazy at work!! I hate when things don't work the way they are supposed to (like the credit card machines and the fax machine)!! I don't like being out of control!!!, LOL!!

Luckily I was feeling goofy at lunch~I wanted to try out my new app...I am so glad Ashley is as goofy as I am!! (it runs in the family). It was a nice break from the craziness *wink*
