It has been one very busy day!!
I wrapped up final details in the office, enjoyed a good-bye lunch with my work peeps, and good-bye dessert with some church peeps!!

Tonight we got together over froyo to see our friend Richard before he leaves tomorrow, for Missouri (which is so weird because the doctor I work for is also moving to Missouri!!),  as he starts a new beginning in the military~I heard a lot about Missouri today, LOL)!!

Last night I uploaded 487 photos to Costco's Photo Lab (they do a really nice job and since my screens are calibrated they come out perfect!!).  If you know me, than you know that I Love, Love, LOVE to look at photos.  I could sit and look at photos for hours and hours, even other peoples photos! 

{I love my digital camera and look through my picture folders on my computer quite often, but there is just something about holding the photo in my hand that I just LOVE, so I always print them out}.

After work I ran over to Costco to pick them up (3 huge envelopes~when I told the girl I had a lot, she asked if I was Gretchen, LOL!!), I could hardly stand the suspense, but I waited until I got home, got comfy in my cut off sweats and tank top and ripped into them!!  Unfortunately dinner needed to be made, so I had to put my picture gazing on hold.





This stack is September through December 2010 (I take lots of photos, LOL!!).  I am hopefully going to finish up my 2010 Project Life album soon (actually it may be 2 volumes).  The hard part is narrowing down what photos to put in the album, cause I LOVE them all.

Today is day 5 of the Photography Challenge

I thought I would photograph my Project Life album (which I had hoped to work on this weekend) waiting for me on the dining room table. I LOVE PL soooo much!! It has really helped me to get my photos scrapped fast. I am half way thru 2010 *woot woot*

Today I had a baby photo shoot in Peoria~one of my FAVORITE assistants came along *smile.* It is always nice to have someone around to help me lug all my gear and props (and have someone to chat with on the 40 min drive), thanks Ash!!



Of course I always treat my assistants to something special on the way home!!

I am a little behind with my Photo Inspiration assignment;last week the theme was Motif (the definition of motif, "a distinctive and recurring form, shape, figure, etc, in a design, as in a painting or on wallpaper.").

I have been wondering what I would photograph for this assignment~then the other night it hit me...while I was sitting on the family room sofa...Viola!!! The gate we use to keep Kodi confined to the tile flooring/give the kitties a place of safety from "CRAZY DOG", LOL!!

I finally had a few moments to work on my Picture Inspiration photo for week 2~the theme is Rhythm. I kind of struggled with this one. Then the other night while paper crafting, it hit me~one of my favorite embellishments...buttons!! Don't they just make you happy all lined up like that, LOL!!

I am enrolled in the online class Picture Inspiration at Big Picture Classes; We received our first lesson last Thursday (they are weekly, I procrastinated a little, LOL!).

Week 1 is "All About You" which involves taking a self portrait~Not my favorite thing to do (much rather shoot others, LOL!!). So here I am standing on the sofa in the living room in front of the big mirror...45 shots later, I finally picked one.

This is where I am happy~right behind my camera...say CHEESE!!!
